Ecce Mundus Mirabilis:
Verba:
Viridant arbores
et rubent rosae
iam efflorescunt
animae nostrae
mihi cogitandus
mundus mirabilis
Caelum azureum
et nubes albae
candorque solis
at placet nox
et mihi cogitandus
mundus mirabilis
Iam arcūs colores
e nubibus pulchri
sunt velut in ore
cuiusquam sociī
Amici salutant
cum gaudio
re vera aiunt
"te... te amo"
Infantes flent sed
Mox vigebunt
nesciemus nos
quod callebunt
mihi cogitandus
mundus mirabilis.
Quaeso me corrigas si quid aptius putaris. :)
I am a writer of short stories, and I started a story about a mulatto girl who goes into Latin Class and a giant sophomore boy who goes into the choir. My dad told me about singing Latin in the high school choir, so I've set up my story to have a few joint sessions of Latin and Choir. The older class is going to sing something in Latin for the newcomers. May I use your translation in my writing?
